Fox in the flowerbed is based on a story about the love shared between a fox and a butterfly. The fox is overcome with feelings of love and infatuation for the butterfly as they spend time together, playing in the beautiful flowerbed. There are 2 main themes in this piece; one which represents the nimbleness of a fox and another theme that represent the fluttery and soaring nature of a butterfly. They both play and play some more; one chasing the other while growing a forever-bond that cannot be broken. The ending of the piece gives us the sense that they both have reached a new stage in their relationship with this flowerbed; one that is full of wonder, passion, and love. 

This piece is meant to symbolize joy and love for one another. And how we should still celebrate loving each other in complete-ness as God intended us to. While writing this piece, I’ve thought about all types of loving relationships people can have. Marriages, Friendships, Parent to child relationships, and our relationships with our neighbors. It is so important for us to build and nourish these relationships as we grow old together.
